Kazan Dairy Factory was visited by a delegation from Zimbabwe

Foreign guests had visited the enterprise during a business visit. A delegation led by the First Vice-President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Constantino Gouveia, Dominic Nyikadzino Chiwenga had arrived in Tatarstan at the invitation of the country's leadership to participate in the events of the Games of the Future organized in Kazan.

 Representatives of the African state were given a tour of the factory and organized a dairy products tasting produced by the plant. The guests showed sincere interest in the work of the production, appreciating the scale of the enterprise and the automation of processes, and expressed interest in business cooperation.

 Constantino Chiwenga noted that the agro-industrial sector of Zimbabwe is one of the leading areas of the economy and Tatarstan has a wealth of experience in agriculture. The parties had discussed areas of possible interaction and expressed confidence in the further development of business ties.

 Let us note that in recent years, political and economic relations between Russia and Africa have been actively developing. The management of the agricultural holding "KOMOS GROUP" considers the African continent as one of the largest potential business partners. Thus, company representatives had taken part in the Russia-Africa Summit and Economic Forum as part of the delegation of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture as one of the leading food producers.

 At the end of nine months of 2023, trade turnover between the countries had amounted to $138 million.
